Your server in your size

No fixed package: choose vCores, memory and NVMe SSD exactly the way your project needs them. The server is set up automatically after ordering, you can adjust vCores and memory at any time later and enlarge the SSD.

The configurator is currently unavailable

In the meantime you will find a fitting size among our fixed VPS plans.

How much do I need?

Rules of thumb from practice – not a must. Better start a bit smaller: you can adjust vCores and RAM later at any time.

Bot, scripts, small services

1 vCore · 1–2 GB · 20 GB

Discord bots, cron jobs, a small web server or VPN.

Website or blog

2 vCores · 4 GB · 40 GB

WordPress or a small shop with its database on the same server.

Several applications

4 vCores · 8 GB · 100 GB

Docker with a few containers, Nextcloud for family or team, Git.

Database or larger project

4–8 vCores · 16 GB+ · depends on data

RAM helps databases the most. For constant full load, a root server is the better choice.

A good fit if you …

… run websites and shops yourself

With your own web server, database and full control over the configuration.

… host applications

Docker, Nextcloud, Git, monitoring or your own project – you get root and decide.

… want to grow

Use the configurator to put together CPU, RAM and storage yourself.

How to get started

  1. Pick or build a planA ready plan or your own mix in the configurator, plus the operating system.
  2. PayThe system creates your server automatically and sends you the login.
  3. Get goingSSH, console, reboot, snapshots and reinstall are in the client area.

Good to know before you order

  • vCores are shared. That works well for most websites and apps; if you need full power all the time, take a root server.
  • Snapshots help before updates but do not replace a backup elsewhere. That is what Backup and Storage Box are for.
  • IPv4 and an IPv6 /64 are included.

Questions about VPS

Can I make the server bigger later?
Yes, via an upgrade in the client area or by ticket.
Which operating systems are available?
The common Linux systems. You can reinstall yourself at any time.
How is it different from a root server?
On a VPS the cores are shared; on a root server threads are reserved for you and not oversold.
