What Pico is and what it is not

The price has reasons. Here they are, so you know where you stand before you buy.

What you get

  • Real KVM virtualisation with your own kernel
  • Full root access, custom ISO files, snapshots
  • NVMe storage and IPv6 – IPv4 included with a 12-month term, otherwise an option at €1.00 per month
  • Control panel with console, reinstall and firewall
  • DDoS protection as in every line

What you do not get

  • No dedicated cores – vCores are shared
  • No availability commitment
  • Minimum term of 6 or 12 months on Pico 1 to 4 – only Pico 6 and 8 are monthly
  • Limited to 100 Mbit/s after 1 TB of traffic in 24 hours
  • One per customer and plan

Which line fits you?

Three lines, clearly separated: what you get and what you do not, without small print.

A good fit if you …

… want to try something

Learn Linux, run a script, test a small service – without spending much.

… run a small bot

Discord or Telegram bots, cron jobs and small tools that need little power.

… need your own access point

A small server with its own address, e.g. as a jump host or for monitoring.

How to get started

  1. Pick a plan and termThe longer the term, the cheaper the month. With 12 months the IPv4 is included.
  2. PayThe system then sets up your server automatically. Your login is in the client area.
  3. Get goingVia SSH or the console in the client area. You can reinstall the OS yourself at any time.

Good to know before you order

  • Pico shares computing power with others. For workloads that need a lot of CPU all the time, a VPS or root server is the better choice.
  • Above 1 TB of traffic within 24 hours the port is limited to 100 Mbit/s.
  • One Pico per customer – so the low price stays fair for everyone.

Questions about Pico KVM

Can I move to a VPS later?
Yes. Open a ticket and we will find the easiest way together. Back up your data first, as the VPS is created fresh.
Do I need an IPv4?
IPv6 is enough for a lot. If you want to be reachable from everywhere, add the IPv4 – it is included with a 12-month term.
Is it a container?
No. The Pico is a real KVM machine with its own kernel.

Not sure which plan fits? Open a ticket and we will tell you honestly what you need – even if that is a smaller plan. Ask a question
