Which line fits you?

Three lines, clearly separated: what you get and what you do not, without small print.

Pico KVM

The low-cost entry

Small projects, test systems, bots, VPN endpoints.

CPU
Shared vCores (1 vCore = 1 CPU thread, shared with other instances)
Virtualisation
Full virtualisation with KVM (Proxmox VE): own kernel, own operating system, own ISO files. No LXC, no OpenVZ, no containers.
Availability
No commitment (best effort)
Minimum term
1, 6 or 12 months, depending on the plan
Traffic
Traffic included. If traffic over the last 24 hours exceeds 1 TB, the server is temporarily limited to 100 Mbit/s.

VPS

Shared cores, full root access

A good fit if you …

… run websites and shops yourself

With your own web server, database and full control over the configuration.

… host applications

Docker, Nextcloud, Git, monitoring or your own project – you get root and decide.

… want to grow

Use the configurator to put together CPU, RAM and storage yourself.

How to get started

  1. Pick or build a planA ready plan or your own mix in the configurator, plus the operating system.
  2. PayThe system creates your server automatically and sends you the login.
  3. Get goingSSH, console, reboot, snapshots and reinstall are in the client area.

Good to know before you order

  • vCores are shared. That works well for most websites and apps; if you need full power all the time, take a root server.
  • Snapshots help before updates but do not replace a backup elsewhere. That is what Backup and Storage Box are for.
  • IPv4 and an IPv6 /64 are included.

Questions about VPS

Can I make the server bigger later?
Yes, via an upgrade in the client area or by ticket.
Which operating systems are available?
The common Linux systems. You can reinstall yourself at any time.
How is it different from a root server?
On a VPS the cores are shared; on a root server threads are reserved for you and not oversold.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions. Anything else, just open a ticket.

How quickly is my server available?
Right away. Once your payment arrives, our system provisions the server automatically – usually it is ready within a few minutes. You receive the access details by email and can find them any time in the client area under "My services".
Which operating system can I use?
Debian, Ubuntu and Windows Server. You pick the OS when ordering; later you can reinstall it yourself in the client area at any time – no ticket, no waiting.
Can I manage my server at any time?
Yes, directly in the client area: start, reboot, shut down, reinstall, noVNC and Xterm console, snapshots, backups, firewall, network and usage graphs. Around the clock, without involving us.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Bank transfer (with a GiroCode on the invoice), PayPal and SEPA direct debit. You can also top up credit that settles new invoices automatically. All prices exclude VAT; every invoice is available as a PDF with an embedded e-invoice.
Are there backups and snapshots?
Yes. In the client area you create backups manually or set up backup schedules – stored on our Proxmox Backup Server without downtime. Snapshots let you freeze the server before changes and roll back if needed.
Where are the servers located?
Exclusively in Germany, in the Maincubes and Firstcolo data centres in Frankfurt am Main. That means low latency for Central Europe, GDPR compliance and DDoS protection included.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
With one month notice to the end of the minimum term, monthly after that – directly in the client area. Upgrades to a bigger plan are done there as well, the difference is charged pro rata. Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal; time already used is charged pro rata.
How secure is my account?
You can enable two-factor sign-in with an authenticator app, including a backup code for emergencies. All connections are encrypted, and user management lets you give team members only the permissions they need.
